The Real Reason You Feel Exhausted (And How to Be Energetic Again)
There’s been a lot of focus in the news recently about the importance of sleep. You can find hundreds of articles on the topic of sleep deprivation and the consequences of not getting enough rest.
Arianna Huffington’s most recent book, The Sleep Revolution, describes us in the “midst of a sleep deprivation crisis, with profound consequences to our health, job performance, relationships and happiness”.
Studies show that more than one third of Americans aren’t getting the recommended minimum of seven hours of sleep per night.
But….what if you’re in the other two-thirds? What if you ARE sleeping enough and you’re still feeling tired or exhausted all the time?
You’re not the only one! In fact, only 20% of people feel well rested on a regular basis, even when they’re getting enough sleep.
That leaves the other 80% attempting to combat fatigue with coffee, sugar, energy drinks, vitamins and a variety of other products that claim to increase our energy and stamina.
But...what if your exhaustion is trying to tell you something? Let’s assume it is.
