Many of us have experienced the murky waters of a work culture gone wrong. In this article on Forbes, I unpack the signs—and impacts—of a toxic work environment and what to do if you find yourself there.

There are certain times when people are inspired to take stock of their lives:

  • What’s working, and what’s not?

  • What brings me joy, and what drains me?

  • What have I accomplished this year, and what do I want next year to hold?

I’m a big believer in self-reflection, and these are all important questions to consider. After all, we only get one life, and it’s worth building a life we truly love—or at least really like!

For many of my clients, workplace toxicity is one of the biggest barriers to happiness and thriving. Considering we spend over a third of our waking hours at work, it’s no surprise that job satisfaction directly impacts our overall well-being. That’s why it’s so important to work in an environment that energizes you instead of draining you.

If you’re feeling weighed down by a toxic workplace, I encourage you to read on and let me know your thoughts - what resonates with you?
